I have a eterno too, dont know about model year but its a heavy loading and comfortable sitting scooter. Mileage is 50 km / ltr and draw backs are ver much. Shock absorbers are too bad, spark plug creates lot of problem, after 50 + speed it startes vibrating very much.

My bike honda shine gave mileage in city-50km highway 60km.but due to bad service quality of honda dealers the mileage this time not more than 50km.on highway.so there is a need to concentrate on service of bikes by honda company.

first of all people must know how to improve mileage. If can challenge anybody who complains about mileage of his bike f gives it to me, it'll certainly do better with an increase of 5-7km/l. I'm giving some tips for improving mileage- Use the clutch minimum. Start the bike using the choke so that fuel gets easily spread into the whole engine. Avoid unnecessary brakes. New users must not go on full throttle rather they must drive 40 km/hr for at least up to 2000 kms however boring it may be. Keep your chain maximum clean. Avoid saree-guard if there is no pillion rider. Regularly check your engine oil, in case it is black, immediately change it. It is the first service after which the bike delivers actual mileage so don't panic if a showroom brought new bike doesn't deliver initially.

Getting good mileage from a gear less scooter is simple maintain the throttle position.. say if your desired speed is 40 hold the throttle at the same point when you reach 40 and hold it there, don't give more acceleration, you reach higher speed and then decelerate
