cd deluxe is overall best bike but major problem in this bike of sitting arrangement....after 15 km driving there is the backbone pain starts.....

keep RPM minimum, and always ride in higher gear, and use clutch appropriately and make sure that u don't use acceleration while using clutch. I apply clutch while descending (or) while approaching traffic signal, that will reduce RPM and obviously improves mileage.

I owned Hero Honda Glamour PGM FI. I gave me so many problem. The problem started after 6 month of purchage. The main problem is engine noise. They are not able to solve it. I am about to claim a new bike from warranty section.

Tis bike is good, but it gave me so many problem's, very first was problem wid battery after visiting 4 to 5 times to hero honda authorised service center that problem came to an end, another problem is mileage, recently it was giving me an average of 25 to 30 kmpl, which was pathetic. So While 2nd servicing I informed the same to service center people abt my problem regarding mileage, but those people didn't did anything. Atlast I took help of one local mechanic & guess wht he find the problem was with the carborator, there was a rubber ring damage due to which the petrol was getting evaporate, he took only 50 rs to repair that issue.......& now my HeroHonda Glamour is working fine also it seems it is giving a good mileage.....I'll not recomend this byk to anyone at all, better go for Karizma or any other company bike if you are look oriented......

I have Hero Honda Splender (1996 Dec. model). It is still working very efficiently. I was getting 65-67 KMPL in city till recently. Recently when I gave it to servicing to an authorised service centre in Pune, they informed me that its carburretor has developed crack and hence it has to be changed, and they fitted another carburretor. After that my mileage has reduced and also when I start it in the morning, I have to give choke and start. I tried to procure an original carburretor suitable for this bike from Hero Honda show rooms but could not succeed. Can anybody or Hero Honda help me in procuring the original carburretor (suitable for 1996 model Splendor)? I shall be grateful. Thanks Ramdas

Do not accelerate or decelerate suddenly. Maintain a constant speed between 40 and 50 whenever possible. Check the tyre pressure regularly. Maintain the bike as recommended by the manufacturer. Fill petrol only from known Petrol Stations. Check the chain regularly for tightness and lubrication. Switch off the bike at signals if the stop is going to be or anticipated to be more than 30 seconds. As far as possible never park your bike exposing it to direct sunlight. Use the brakes very wisely. Do not rev up the bike unnecessarily.

I had to adjust the mileage after several months of suffering with 45 kmpl mileage done by hero honda mechanics !! it is achieved at 360 degrees counter clock wise after full tightening the AFM screw.(after several trials this was achieved. now I don require any choking at the first star of the even after several days of un condition. cranking is minimum to start. that all my friends !!.now I am a happy owner of a hero honda !!!

I purchase of a Splender Bike And i done 3 Services of my bike. but he is no mileage lessthen 40 KM/1lt. petrol. please help me.

I am always drive my bike in between 45-60 Speed.

am having a glamour pgmfi which is 9 month old@10,500km gives milege around 70-74kmpl in our town,and gives more than 80kmpl in highway(i have got maximum of 84.2kmpl) previously i was having normal glamour which gave me mileage around 65-70,i think glamour is best for me, pgmfi models o/p power is less compared to carbourator model tip for mileage-drive@ a speed of 40-55kmph,if itz a straight road u can go upto 60-65,clean airfilter @regular interval,refil power/premium petrol frm genuine pump(it gives 5-8% more mileage) Dnt ride thripple Try to change gear @ respective speed said in manual. Dnt use clutch unnecessarijy, Avoid sudden speeding n racing

past 2 year i have i pleasure so how can i improve my bike mileage ?

I have purchased passion pro 7 months back and had run 5000km. Its giving only 44 to 45km from the begining in city. I am worrying this millage problem. regading this issue I reported to dealer and done 4 service in the same dealer's service station but no use.....can any one tell me what is the problem.

I have handled it for a short time. I think it's very suitable for those who want mileage as well as some sort of style. Because if there is no lack of care, the bike always gives 65~70 km/L. It's worth mentioning that, if Hero-Honda gives some more formality (I mean looking/style)to it,other bikes may fall in great danger.

hi, i have cd deluxe power start. tips for improve the mileage is "strictly drive between 45-47 kmph"(when u r alone) and with pillion u may drive on 50 kmph. the air pressure should be 25-41 in the tyre. if the traffic signal is red more than 15 sec. then put off your bike.
