Hyundai i10, a Hatchback has 5 versions available in India. Hyundai i10 has 4 Petrol cars and 1 LPG car. Other popular cars in the similar price range of Hyundai i10 are Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 1.0 and Maruti Suzuki Swift. Hyundai i10 comes in 4 colours, namely, Pure White, Sleek Silver, Stardust, Wine Red.

The i10, launched in 2007, has always been among the top-selling Hyundai cars in India. The hatchback received some major exterior updates and new features in 2010. The new Grand i10 is the global successor of the i10, which was launched in 2013. However both the new and old models are on sale in India.

As mentioned above the i10 last received an update in 2010, when it received a new grille, a large mesh-work beneath air-dam and slightly different headlamps. The rear too receives changes in the form of revised bumper, new tail-lamps and few other features. Interior, too, looks premium. The old black/ beige dashboard is now browner with metal finished centre console. It offers new fabric seat upholstery and few additional features. The hatch is available in just one petrol engine - a 68.05bhp, 1.1-litre iRDE2 unit. A 5-speed manual is the only transmission option on offer. It’s among the most fuel efficient Hyundai cars in India. The engine refinement levels are high. It’s easy to drive, though the ride gets bouncy on uneven roads. Handling is decent.

The updated model looks sportier and more outgoing than its predecessor. The front fascia features a new theme grill, a new hexagonal front grille, aggressive headlights and a mesh-work beneath air dam. Alloys wheels are evidently absent. The rear gets a modified rear bumper, a new tail lamp and a beep only reverse guide system.

Just like many Hyundai car models, the hatch offers best-in-class interior. It’s spacious and well-packed. A new brown dashboard with metal finished centre console looks good.

Braking System

Braking performance is pretty impressive. The brake pedal is spongy, and needs to be tuned more. It gets standard front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.
