The Fiat Palio is a B-segment car that was rolled-out in the Indian market by the Tata-Fiat joint venture. The Palio Stile is a new generation version of Fiat’s iconic Palio hatchback. The car is available in four variants out of which three come equipped with 1.1 L engine, and a variant with 1.6 L engine.The Fiat Palio hosts spacious interiors and a range of new age performance and comfort enhancing features that include stylish two-toned dash board, engine immobilizer, double barrel clear headlamps, Power steering, comfortable seats, sporty exteriors, and plush upholstery.Moreover, the Fiat Palio comes blessed with an array of safety features including the likes of Fiat Side Impact Beams, Anti Submarine Seats, Tubeless Tyres, Energy Absorbing Collapsible Steering Wheel, Child Lock on Rear Doors, Fire Prevention System (FPS), and High Mounted Stop Lamp. The Palio Stile model is available in the price segment of Rs 3,41,243 to Rs 4,43,630.The Palio Stile is available in six exciting colors: Mint White, Ozone Blue, Furnace red, Carbon Black, Magnesium Grey and Formula Red. The car has been designed to target the young crowd of the country by its appealing looks along with a sensible price tag.
Engine & Specification of the Fiat Palio
The Fiat Palio Stile is available in 4 variants including three variants powered with 1.1 L engine one with 1.6 L engine. The 1.1 L, 1108 cc engine is blessed with FIRE (Fully Integrated Robotized Engine) along with an advanced 32-bit Engine Management system. The Palio Fire is capable of generating a maximum power of 52PS @ 5250 rpm along with peak torque of 92Nm @2750 rpm.On the other hand, the 1.6 sport variant of Palio comes loaded with a 1.6L, 1596cc 4-Cylinder petrol engine with an advanced 32-bit Engine Management system that generates peak power of 100 PS at 5500rpm with peak torque of 137 Nm at 4250 rpm.
Performance of the Fiat Palio
The 1.1L, 1108cc, FIRE petrol engine of the car takes 20.5 seconds to break the speed barrier of 100 km/hr. Top speed of the variant is 132kmph. On the other hand, the sport 1.6 variant of the car takes just 12.2 seconds to cross the speed barrier of 100 km/hr. Top speed of this variant is 181 km/hr.While the 1.1L version of the Fiat Palio offers a mileage in the range of 11.5 kmpl to 15.5 kmpl, the 1.6L version offers a mileage in the range of 9 kmpl to 13 kmpl.
Exterior, Interior, & Safety Features of the Fiat Palio
The exterior of Palio Stile model comes equipped with a range of look enhancing features including Double Barrel Clear Lens Halogen Headlamps, Internally Adjustable ORVM, Body Coloured Bumpers, Rear Demister, Front Fog Lamp and many more.On the other hand, the interiors of the Fiat Palio have been loaded with a range of advanced features including AC, Power Windows, 12 V Accessory Sock, Power Steering, Remote Fuel Lid Opener, Remote Tail gate Opener, Heater, Central Locking, Tachometer, Digital Clock, Magazine Pockets and many more.The major safety features of the Fiat Palio include Side Impact Beams, Anti Submarine Seats, Energy Absorbing Collapsible Steering Wheel, Tubeless Tyres, High Mounted Stop Lamp, Child Lock on Rear Doors, Remote Head lamp Level Adjustment, Fire Prevention System (FPS), etc.
