Volvo Expands its Dealer Network in India

Volvo has entered India and has already started expanding its dealer and distribution networks in the country. It has started extended is sales and service support in the western region of the country by opening new dealerships. GMS Motors has been appointed as the new service dealer and one of the largest dealers for Volvo in India. It shall cater to Volvo customers in the western region.
Currently there are 17 support locations for Volvo customers in India that offer support to Volvo trucks and buses in the country. Mumbai alone has more than thousand buses and trucks from Volvo.

Volvo also has strategic partnership alliance with Castrol India that shall supply high performance lubricants for Volvo cars in India. Castrol shall supply its highest technology product – Castrol Edge to Volvo Cars which was tested by Volvo for 100,000 kms in field trials in India.

According to Paul de Voijs, Managing Director, Volvo Car India, “We are delighted that we have extended our global partnership to the Indian market. Volvo has partnered with Castrol globally and so when we launched Volvo cars in India, Castrol was our first choice. We are confident that Castrol India will provide us with the highest level of quality and product technology backed by world class service which we receive from Castrol companies across the world. Castrol’s width and depth of distribution will ensure that Volvo dealers are well supported across the country.”
