Tata Motors to Unveil Three New models at the Delhi Auto Expo 2010
Tata Motors has always been tight-lipped about its plans and future strategies regarding its business. Delhi Auto Expo 2010 is the biggest event coming up in India that stands second only to the Shanghai Motors Show in Asia. Tata Motors has now announced that it will unveil its three new vehicles at the upcoming Auto Expo. The company has not revealed any details about the vehicles that are expected to be launched on January 05, 2010 by Ratan Tata, Chairman, Tata Motors at Tata Motors pavilion. The launch will be followed by a press conference with Ratan Tata and the senior management of Tata Motors.
Although there is no official information about the three new vehicles, nevertheless, these models are speculated to be the new Tata Indicruz crossover model, Indica Vista Ignis and its new commercial vehicle Tata Penguin truck. Tata Indica EV will be the second electric model at the Delhi Auto Show apart from Chevrolet Spark EV.
Tata Motors will also unveil a new Jaguar luxury saloon at the event which will be the new XJ model that was earlier launched in June 2009. The variants will be powered with a 5.0-liter petrol (385 PS, supercharged 510 PS) and 3.0-liter diesel engine with 275 PS.
