Tata Motors To Launch Indica Vista In Europe
Indian automakers are keenly eyeing European customers starting from the UK market. Tata Motors has initiated a massive expansion plan that will extend into Europe as well as the US. Tata Motors is initially planning to launch new models in the UK market and then move on to the neighbouring European countries.
Tata Motors will initially launch Tata Indica Vista and Tata Indigo models in the UK. There will be total seven to eight vehicles launched in the British market eventually. Tata Motors is finalizing the distributor currently and as soon as the process is finished both the models will be on sale sometime this year.
For the European markets, Ravi Kant, MD, Tata Motors stated, “We would be engineering cars that are not just for India. We want to put the philosophy of the Nano into effect.” He also indicated that the cars will be “good value” and prices will not creep up.
