Quraish visited the Tata Motors Pavalion at the Auto Expo 2010 in Delhi. We had reported on the Tata Motors Expo Cars before.
Here are some impressions of the various Tata Motors vehicles at the Auto Expo 2010.
Tata Aria
Touted as the new SUV from the Tata Motors stable - complementing the Grande Sumo and the Safari, the Aria was unveiled by Mr Ratan Tata himself.
The car is quite impressive and spacious. Take a look at the pics:
Tata Magic Iris
The Magic Iris is an MPV but the baby car look makes us wonder how many people it can fit. The Tata Magic Iris looks a bit quirky, but it's surely a car which will find its niche. Take a look at the Tata Magic Iris images and let us know what you think!
Tata Venture
The Tata Venture is a carrier vehicle which reminds us somewhat of the Tata Winger, though a bit smaller.
Tata Venture image:
Jaguar XJ
Finally, the climax from the Tata Motors Group, the Jaguar XJ. Unveiled by the LRJ CEO, the car is a truly impressive piece.
We'll let the Jaguar XJ images from the Auto Expo do the talking:

I have been to the Auto Expo 2010. The cars exibited in the Fiat pavilion were better than the cars in the Tata Motors pavilion. The broad understanding cum collaboration between Tata Motors and Fiat under the Fiat Automobiles India Ltd seems to be favouring Fiat more than Tata Motors. The yoy sales of Fiat cars are zooming compared to the sluggish growth of Tata cars. The collaboration is unequal and favouring Fiat more than Tata. Should Tata Motors continue with this unequal collaboration. I am a shareholder inTata Motors and hence concerned. Why is Fiat producing beautiful sexy cars as compared to the rough and rugged passenger vehicles of Tata Motors.

The Aria will be priced between 6-8 lakhs.I do not understand where did you get the price of 15 lakhs.

If the car is priced at 15 lakhs, will you buy the same? That too you are getting TOYOTA INNOVA at a price below 10 lakhs Click here to see the answer to this question Vipindas (January 06, 2010)

Good news. When it will be available? Hope TATA can introduce automatic transmission variant also. Highlights for this vehicle may not be cup holder, flight tray, spects holder, etc., like other SUV manufacturers. If TATA can introduce Xover & Aria in ABS/automatic transmission they will capture the market. Lots of people like automatic transmission.
