Skoda To Launch Yeti in June 2010

Skoda Auto unveiled its new SUV Yeti at the Delhi Auto Expo 2010. The model has now been confirmed to be available in the market by June- July 2010. Initially the model will come in two variants but the company will introduce more variants looking at the market response from Indian customers. This is the similar strategy that was adopted by Skoda when Laura and Superb were launched in the country. Skoda Yeti is expected to be priced between Rs. 13-15 lakh.
Further, Skoda’s new small car is expected in India by December 2012. The car will be priced between Rs. 4-5 lakh and will be placed below Skoda Fabia.
Skoda had introduced a new Fabia Greenline at the Delhi Auto Expo for the Indian market which is also on the cards.
Other models expected in coming months from Skoda stable are Skoda Laura RS and Skoda Superb Combi, both of which are additional variants of popular sedan models in Skoda’s Indian product portfolio.

I think Skoda must price this vehicle at 8 - 10 Lakhs. ANy more and it will be a white elephant as at the price bracket of 10 - 13 Lakhs your have much better options in Cruze, Jetta, et al. Further at the 8 - 10 bracket it will give M&M Scorpio a run for its money and will take away its market.Hope the concerned chappies are listening!

Its price is 18 Lacs for the diesel version revealed at a showroom in Ludhiana.

the skoda yeti is more like the wagon R, only it is in diesel

skoda yeti will be worth in the price range of Rs 8 to 10 lacs only not more than this otherwise the company cant touch the expected target

should not be more than 10 Lacs for a 4WD 2L diesel Yeti other wise it wont sell much considering its size.

Skoda Yeti must be priced from 8 -12 lakhs

Skoda Yeti- until now the price indication are very confusing. We are hearing from 10 laks, 10-13, 13-15 and 20?? what will be the actual price when it arrive??
