Skoda Fabia Petrol Faces Technical Glitches

Skoda has recalled petrol variants of its model Fabia due to technical glitch. It shall be upgrading both its models for better fuel efficiency as its current models had been facing fuel inconsistencies.

"We have decided to upgrade our current technology in two petrol variants of Fabia so that our customers get better fuel efficiency from our cars," Skoda said in a statement. "We at SkodaIndia always believe in keeping our customers' interests at the forefront of our decision making," the statement said. However, it made very clear that the company is not calling back its Fabia petrol cars but only improving engine performance and fuel consumption through software enhancement. The customers can use the facility during their routine service or earlier as per his preference.

Skoda Fabia Petrol Faces Technical Glitches

Skoda is also planning a green Fabia that would be priced below Rs. 10 lakh and would be a successor to its Octavia sedan. It is going to be an environmentally friendly car from the "greenline" Fabia range. Skoda plans to launch its "greenline" range with engines that are more environmentally friendly and give better fuel efficiency. The first greenline in India could be a Fabia, said Thomas Kuehl, Director, Skoda India.
