Royal Enfield Models Launched in Hyderabad
After Kerala, now Royal Enfield introduced both its classic models in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Royal Enfield had introduced Classic 350 and Classic 500 in Kerala market priced at Rs. 1.07 lakh and Rs. 1.36 lakh with a mileage of 30 and 45 kmpl respectively.
Royal Enfield is expanding its base in India. The company has been growing at 15-18% in the past few years and the economic downturn has not changed the situation. “Our aim is to touch 1 lakh bikes by 2013,” said Shaji Koshy, head of sales and marketing of the company. As there are an increasing number of customers with high disposable income, demand for such bikes is rising each day and the company intends to keep pace with the demand. Royal Enfield has its manufacturing unit in Chennai and currently there is a waiting period of 10-15 days. The unit is well-equipped to step up the production if there is sudden rise in the demand from the customers.
Both the models from Royal Enfield are already present in the US and the European markets where they were launched last year and the company has received encouraging response.

Royal Enfiled should continue with their old model. Unfotunately they have stopped which created artifial demand and second hand Motor cycle got good market because to own and drive with passion nothing can beat the joy of riding and proud to be owner of Bullet. I personally feel that Royal Enfiled should think of old model and fill the gap of demand and supply as many youngersters as well as middle aged persons are huntting for the same. Also they should speed up the production to meet the current demand.
