Amidst much fanfare at the Juhu Flying Club, Nissan launched its latest iconic sports model Nissan 370Z in India. The unveiling ceremony started in the morning when we were taken to the venue in a White open double-decker bus to view the spectacular 370Z car. The car dashed out of a black van and stopped only after a few fast runs on the ground. There were a few displays of the car with Burnouts and 360s and finally ace driver of India, Narayan Karthikeyan emerged from the car.

After the dramatic introduction of the car to the press, Nissan Managing Director and CEO, Kiminobu Tokuyama officially introduced the car for the Indian customers.

“These are exciting times for all of us at Nissan and in our effort to provide the Indian customers with an experience of our full range of products, we are delighted to launch our very popular and iconic sports car -370Z in India. The 370Z has been conceived as an "Everyday Sports Car," bringing to life the sweet spot of performance, style and value, which symbolizes the DNA of Nissan cars. It's an authentic sports car that you don't have to make sacrifices to own – or drive every day. We believe that the 370Z will create an aspirational value for Nissan brand in the country as we gear up for the launch of our first made in India car in 2010,” said Tokuyama while introducing the car to the press.

We were then allowed to feast ourselves and our lenses on the magnificent red beauty (see the Nissan 370Z pictures below) thereafter followed by a Q&A session.
