Next Generation Porsche Cayenne Details Revealed
The next generation Porsche Cayenne goes on sale this year in May. The company has revealed official details of the latest SUV that will hit the international markets. According to the latest press release from the company, the new SUV will be offered initially with three engine options: an entry-level 3.6-liter V-6 with 300-horsepower, a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V-8 with 400-horsepower and a range-topping twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V-8 with 500-horsepower.
The car comes with 8-speed automatic transmission which will not be offered at lower speed. This means the new SUV is strictly an on-road vehicle. The model also features new improved fuel efficiency up to 23 percent and weight reduction up to 10 percent in petrol driven Cayenne models.
The model will be officially launched at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March where Porsche will showcase the diesel model as well as the hybrid version of the car.
