New Unisex Model from TVS

TVS Motors plans to launch a unisex scooter model in the coming financial year. The unisex model is a little heavier than a typical scootertte designed for women. The new scooter shall cater to the urban demand and shall have a more mature looking design suited for longer driving distance.

TVS Motors also launched the fourth model in its product portfolio – TVS Streak. It is a 90cc model that has been launched nearly a year after the company launched its successful model – TVS SCooty Pep+. “We have seen a revival in the two wheeler market in the past two months, with our growth touching double digit rates from the 5% growth rate seen when the slump hit in September,” said TVS Motors sales vice president R Dilip. It currently exports Scooty Pep+ to nearly 48 countries and also plans to export Streak after catering to domestic demands.
