New Tata Safari Coming Up In January 2011

hi, i would like to know when if you are planning to sell the next generation dicor safari 4x4 van in the uk .

Friends, I have been hearing from last 1 year that the new tata safari is getting lunched in first half this year but still no news. I also checked from one of the dealer in Delhi and to my surprise they are also not aware or they have been asked to maintain these typical statements by TATA. Anybody knows out there knows the final dates of it's lunch. I am planning to buy a SUV and don't want to decided before checking new safari which has been my my first love.......:-). appreciate you response. Take care

Hi Rajesh, There is difference between Qashqai and Qashqai-2, Qashqai-2 is not small and not a very city vehicle, it comes with three row of seats and is a 4 wheel drive MUV. It's in anyway better than Safari or Innova

Yes true but Tata is improving by leaps and bounds. Over the past ten years.... when I look back the3 Tata Safari and other vehicles in the years 2000 and when I look at those vehicles now, they have gone massive changes and the improvement is really good. But there is still a huge room for improvement. I am sure by 2020, Tata's will be a much better brand worldwide. No doubt about it.

I request all not to go for Tata Vehicles. Engine may be good. The small small items used in the car is below quality.

I would like Tata Safari to have following features/performance.1) Near Zero maintenance over the years.2) Less body roll at a speed of 80 kmph or more.3) 0-100 km in around 13 seconds or less. Yes its an SUV and not s speed monster but people will always compare it with other SUVs which might be small vehicles in size or weight and very peppy. Safari has to reduce its curb weight and increase some bhp and torque to achieve this.4) 80-0 breaking in or under 30 meters.5) The smoothness of any car is always felt the way gears operate. If it feels smooth then its always a good start and creates a good impression. SO a smooth gear.6) And come on Tata.... Safari is a Boy's car and boys need some good music systems. I mean some good speakers(u know all those stuffs like signal to noise ratio, power outputs and other important things)Come on Tata, bring it on....Give us a world class Safari and let all these so called first-world, first-class vehicles run for a cover....

The best allrounder and the suited to Indian conditions is Nissan Qashqai-2. It should come to India. Nissan never understood the needs of people, claimate, socialogy, terrain, by launching a bomb that's fully imported, X-trail.

It looks too tall. We would have welcomed something in the proportions of Toyota Fortuner or Land Rover, Even good if they can make which looks like RAV4. It's still the old stuff with new cloths. The bodyroll of the existing safari is too much to have fun and sporty feeling. On the other side the ground clearance is also of no benchmark. I would welcome something which is Light yet sturdy, Better clearance but not too tall, spacious but not too bulky. Should I say something lovely like LandRover Freelander II...??

hope the dash board will be on par with aria,and the cost around same price of present safari.everything is good about safari other than its dash board.there is no dual zone ac in it,and also the music system has no usb options
