New Suzuki Swift Next Year

Suzuki Motors Corp is ready to introduce a new model of Swift in the international market next year. The current model of Swift was launched in 2005 and also won Car of the Year Award that year. This Swift accounts for nearly 40 percent of Suzuki’s sales in Europe. The model has been caught testing in cold weather conditions in Germany. The model is currently the best selling model in the UK and is also rumoured to be coming as a hybrid model.

The possibility of hybrid variant is not confirmed and the Indian customers may have to wait for the new re-designed model as well. For India, the new Suzuki Swift is expected to come with the 1.2-l K-Series petrol engine. It is also likely that Suzuki could continue the Multi-jet engine and supplement it with more powerful engines like the 1.5 liter CRDI unit.

Suzuki has already introduced its premium sedan model Kizashi in the American market. The US customers will soon have the new Suzuki Swift model which will be the next-generation model for the American customers.
