Ferrari has launched limited edition of 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE in the Chinese market. The company has not revealed any prices so far but only twelve models will be on sale. The new limited edition Ferrari 599 Fiorano HGTE has been developed in association with the Chinese artist Lu Hao and features special two tone body done in Rosso Fuocco fiery red body with a grey roof.
Throughout the car, Lu Hao has used special ancient Chinese script called Xiao Zhuan to engrave a name plaque for each edition. These names can be seen at various places like engine start button or rev counter. Moreover, there is one model that is inspired from Song Dynasty and looks like Ge Klin porcelain. It’s a cracked glaze pattern which is said to have the lustre of jade and is one of China’s most distinctive ancient arts which made its way to the West via the silk road thousands of years ago.
The special edition model is powered by 6.0-litre V12 producing 611bhp and 448lb ft of torque. Introduction of special edition models from Ferrari in the Chinese market just depicts how important China has become for the auto makers specially the luxury automobile manufacturers. Companies are not only launching new models but they are also learning the culture and language to conduct the trade.
