New Mitsubishi Pajero 2010 Model to Be Launched

Mitsubishi will launch its next generation model of Pajero 2010 in India by middle of this year. The current SUV model from Mitsubishi is powered by 2.8L diesel engine and has 5-speed manual transmission. The upgraded model is expected to be powered by 3200 cc engine which generates 165 Bhp and 2.5-Litre engine that delivers 140 Bhp.

The new model will carry a Paris-Dakar Raid car looks with Tiptronic-like INVECS II automatic gearbox. The interiors are inspired from those of the Outlander and the design is based on a truck called Triton. It is expected to deliver a mileage of 9.5 kmpl and priced at Rs. 20.70 lakh.

Mitsubishi Pajero

Mitsubishi has already launched the new upgraded model in Europe and the latest model coming to India will be quite similar to the one in Europe. The existing model will be termed as Pajero Classic that will be shifted for sale in tier II cities in India. The new model will be sold in metro cities where the new emission norms come into effect.

totally agree with rajat.change the engine to 16 valve with higher CC,some more torque and let the shape as it is.I am fed up while seeing all SUV in india which are rounded on edges as well as front and back.

its great that u r bringing the new pajero for metros & restrict the old one to rest of the towns buuuttt dont u think that the existing pajero is much more better looking than the new one, its much practical oooooffff roader 4 which it is recognised, on which it really scores ,why???? u want 2 mess up its image by bringing the soft roader to its name ,,,,belive me there r lot more better looking softroaders than the new coming pajero???? i have seen this suv in thailand malaysia singapore with & without the covered back.. it looks good only in white colour , othewise it looks vvvv.pathetic...if u really want to bring in this suv kindly aaatttleast change the front looks as othrwise it will be a huge dissappointment.& wont be accepted in india. I own a endeavour & a captiva , really want to buy the new pajero nw buuuuttt as mentioned above the new 1 got the ugly looks,front could have been somewhat simillar to recentally outphased outlander. & in my opinion if u really want a hit fourmula which will 100% CLICK //bring the new 3.0L 165 Bhp engine in the existing pajero only with a new dashboard *****

This looks like an old lady with a heavy make up , I own a pajero, but I love the looks of my new fortuner although the interiors are lousy.
