New International Chevrolet Aveo Details Revealed

The new Chevrolet Aveo 2012 model was revealed to the reporters in Los Angeles. The company showcased the production ready model in sedan form that bears close resemblance to the Aveo RS concept model showcased at the Detroit Auto Show earlier. The new model is expected to be powered with 1.4L I-4-cylinder Ecotec turbocharged making 138-hp and carries design cues that are capable of giving tough competition to Ford Fiesta.

Exteriors of the new Chevrolet Aveo 2012 model feature sharp and handsome front end while the interiors carry the trend of Chevrolet Equinox carrying better quality materials and improved designs. Interiors are done in two tones that is well complemented with an integrated control panel, large tachometer and a digital information center.

General Motors has not revealed the price of the new model, however, the details are expected before the end of this year while sales will commence sometime later in 2011. The car will compete with upcoming Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit and Nissan Versa.
