20 November, 2009, 10:10 IST by Satish Kalepu

Honda is ready to introduce its new Personal Neo-urban Transport or the P-NUT for the first time at the LA Auto show in December this year. The new vehicle is U.S.-designed personal mobility vehicle which is a futuristic coupe with aggressive styling lines and a compact form. There are no details available for the vehicle so far. Honda has also not revealed any images of the vehicle which are expected to be available only just before the LA Auto Show. There is no confirmation either regarding whether the concept model will go into the production and P-NUT is the actual model name. So far, Honda spokesperson is only sticking to the car’s name, rank and serial number.

The concept has been designed by the Advanced Design Studio of Honda R&D Americas, which holds credit for designing models suited for the American customers, including the Honda Element, Pilot and Ridgeline. Honda has also revealed several concept models at the Frankfurt Motor show and Tokyo Auto Show. Recent concepts unveiled include the all-electric Cub Scooter, fellow electric concept the EV-N, and the hybrid Skydeck.

Future Cars is definitely the theme going around in the auto market around the world. Honda is also introducing several models based on future concept that are highly compact and relate to enviro-friendly urban environment.
