  • Congrats Fiat , at last u have decided to introduce the big brotheres of Linea ! Linea is beautiful machine, it only needed some muscle, though the 1.3 lt crdi is good, but not good enough for some like me.Fiat said in its pre launch of Linea that it will introduce all three diesel engines, but did not do , so! Anyway its never too late. It should seriously consider introducing Automatic Transmission models in the same power range, to compete with others. Congrats and Good job !

  • On what basis does FIAT deserve this criticism ? It takes time for companies to be large players in any market, success requires a lot of things to be in place. If you look at the numbers of failures in models, Maruti & Hyundai have more. Look at Versa, Baleno, Estillo from maruti. So the point to note is that if you like FIAT cars, go ahead and buy them, they have some of the best cars available in India and at fantastic prices and importantly stop criticising the company eternity.

  • Its really hard for me to understand, why Fiat keeps waiting to deliver better things to its customers. If i am not mistaken they are one of the oldest automobile dealers in India and still have failed to catch the right nerve of the youth and middle age buyer. Punto and Linea are great cars to look at thanks to the Italian side of Fiat, the drive and suspension are good too, but is that enough to sell things. If the power delivery and interiors were little more and upclass even though u already have the option to do so, the sales figure would have shot double. Its hard to know and still a mystery to Fiat i think, that since the time of Palio and now Punto is still having the age old problem of turning radius. These small and important things could have always been taken care off and would have made a huge difference in sales.
