New Fiat 500 in Pink – Limited Edition Model
The Italian car maker, Fiat 500 has launched a limited edition model of Fiat 500 donned in pink colour in the international market. Fiat plans to introduce several limited edition models of Fiat 500 this year. Fiat 500 Pink model is one of the first in the series. The new pink model is targeted towards “young women car drivers.”
The Pink is based on the 1.2-litre petrol Lounge, and it comes as standard with a Start&Stop system for better fuel economy (particularly in town), a sunroof, a leather gearknob, a pink key cover, black interior trim, special carpet mats and a side rubbing strip with a 500 badge.
The limited edition model will be available for sale online only. The local Fiat dealer will not be able to sell the model from their showrooms. The car is already on sale in the UK market at a price of £11,700 or Rs. 8.89 lakhs. The 500 Pink looks set to become 2010’s ‘must-have’ motoring fashion item and Elena Bernardelli, marketing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK says, “I am delighted that we are now able to offer the 500 Pink – just like many of our customers who have been asking us for this limited edition.”
