New Clutch-Less Bike Coming to India from TVS

02 November, 2009, 10:10 IST by Satish Kalepu

TVS Motors is ready to join the bandwagon of clutch less bikes. It intends to introduce a new bike model which will not have any clutch mechanism with its new kind of gearbox. It will be the first of its kind bike in the country which will be actually a blessing for the city ride. The new bikes will be competitively priced and the company is especially focused about its mileage to deliver maximum benefit to the price-sensitive customer of India.

The new bike is expected to be launched as “TVS Star Sport CL 115.” More specifications and technical details of the model are yet not available. TVS intends to introduce the model in India shortly and will reveal the price for the same at the time of the launch. Hero Honda Street and Kinetic K4 models have already seen a quick death in the Indian two-wheeler market due to their exorbitant pricing and TVS Motors is planning to price the model quite sensibly to make it competitive in the two wheeler market.

Apart from a gearless bike, TVS Motors will also launch a gearless scooter in the Indian market.
