New BMW 330i Next Month
BMW leads the Indian luxury market currently as it grew its annual sales volumes last year and beat age-old luxury car maker Mercedes. It is not sitting quietly even now and is planning to bring a better 3 series model in the country. The new BMW 330i will feature a new engine that currently powers the 530i model. It is a 3-litre in line 6-cylinder engine that delivers a power of 258 bhp and attains a top speed of 100kmph in just 7seconds.
BMW 325i is currently available in India but the company is planning to phase out the model from the Indian market. The new BMW 330i is expected to cost around Rs. 40 lakhs. The model will compete with the Audi A4 model that is powered by 3.2L V6 petrol engine.
Autocar India reports, that the 330i comes packed with an ocean of equipment and safety features. It gets front and side airbags for driver and co-passenger, engine immobiliser, cruise control with brake function, ABS, automatic stability control (ASC), EBD, and hill-start assist to name a few. On the inside, it features automatic two-zone climate control, multi-function leather steering wheel, an on-board computer, steering adjust for reach and rake, CD player and auxiliary points for an MP3 player with six speakers.
