25 November, 2009, 10:10 IST by Satish Kalepu

Bajaj Auto is ready to launch its new Pulsar 2010 in Indian auto market in a fortnight from now. The company has already launched a teaser on the website with a countdown clock. The teaser website does not give many details about the upcoming model but it is expected that engine will be refined and will be more powerful than existing model.

The new teaser website showcases parts of the new model when the mouse rolls over. It shows fuel tank with new style that features sharp tank mounted scoops. There is also a new exhaust along with rear seat foot pegs. Split seats and restyled headlamps are some of the additional new features in the bike.

Bajaj is also planning to launch two new motorcycle platforms in the coming year. The company has already invested around Rs 250 crores in development of these platforms in association with KTM. The new bikes will be exported to Europe that will be developed at Bajaj’s Chakan manufacturing facility.
