New Auto-Clutch Bike “TVS Jive” in India

TVS Motors launched its new auto-clutch bike in North India.

The new TVS Jive is propelled by 110cc engine that delivers a four-stroke performance with 8.1 Bhp at 7500 rpm and comes with a torque of 8.1 nm at 5500 rpm. It is equipped with ‘Tmatic’ auto-clutch technology and a patent for the same is pending. The bike also features other cool attributes such as hands-free gear shift, anti-stall mechanism and any gear start. The model is available in three colours – red, blue and black.

Further, Vice-President-Sales R Dilip said TVS aims to achieve 10 per cent market share in the premium segment, where the bike is positioned, by selling about 20,000 units pan-India per month. "We will follow this launch by entering the market of Uttar Pradesh. Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are very important markets for us. This new motorcycle will fuel our growth in North India. We expect to sell 15,000-20,000 units per month in these territories," said S Ram Mohan, TVS Motor Company General Manager (Sales). TVS Motors reported 31% jump in February sales at 140,544 units against 107,301 units in the same month previous year.
