Bajaj Auto Limited launched yet another upgraded version of its popular Bajaj Pulsar 180cc. Bajaj has launched the new 180 cc model first, since the TVS Apache 180cc is already in the market which has made Bajaj to rework on its sales strategy.

There is a very miniscule rise in power to 17.02PS @ 8500rpm compared to the earlier P180s power output of 16.51PS at the same rpm. The kerb weight has also gone up to 147 kgs from earlier 143 kgs due to the new swing arm borrowed from Avenger 220.

The new Bajaj 180cc comes with stouter 37mm fork assembly at the front. Everything is re-done in black matte finish carrying a contemporary black theme. The new 180cc also has split seat and split grab rail like the one present in Pulsar 200. It has a 25mm longer wheelbase of 145mm than the existing model. The bike now gets the 37mm fork assembly from the Pulsar 220 and promises more stability in corners. The bottom pipes are finished in matte black unlike the silver used on the 220. The steering tee is lifted straight from the 220’s chasis again. The new 180 also gets the clip-ons from the 220 which should aid handling and wrist comfort to an extent.
