New 2010/ 2012 Chevrolet Spark in USA

The new 2010 Chevrolet Spark is set to debut in the US market in 2011. It was first unveiled at 2007 New York Auto Show. It will now be the least expensive model in the Chevrolet product portfolio in the US market which has been witnessing steady decline in sales. Moreover, Americans are more willing to buy small cars in the wake of present economic scenario and the dwindling oil prices.

The new Chevrolet Spark is due to roll out in March 2010 and will be a replacement of Chevrolet Matiz. Initially the model will be available as a three-door model but later 5-door model will also be introduced. The new Spark will also be the most fuel efficient model capable of 23.81 kmpl emitting less than 120g/km of CO2 emissions.

The engines available will be a 1.0 petrol (65 bhp) and a 1.2 petrol (77bhp), prices will range in the USA from Rs. 5.27 lakh to Rs. 7.48 lakh with the LS trim expected to be the most popular this will be priced at approximately Rs. 6.41 lakh.
