Mitsubishi Evo-X Coming Up at Delhi Auto Expo
Mitsubishi had showcased its Evo-X at the 2008 Delhi Auto Expo but since then there has been no official word about its launch. But now, the company is ready to launch the vehicle at 2010 Delhi Auto Expo for the Indian market. The new model is expected to be priced at Rs. 21 lakh and above and it will be a race-bred machine capable of pumping out 276bhp of power. This luxury sports car model will be imported as a completely built unit and will be pitted against Mercedes C-Class, BMW 3-Series and Audi A4 models.
The new Evolution X will be the 9th generation model which is supposed to be one of the finest models with best performance in its segment. It also sports a high tech kit known as the ‘Super All Wheel Drive Control’. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, which would be a five-seater, is expected to be built on a completely new platform.
It still remains to be seen if Mitsubishi is able to generate volumes in the luxury car segment which is already heavily dominated by Mercedes, BMW and Audi. Even a well known company as Volvo is facing a tough competition in this segment and scrambling hard to make an effective presence in this segment.

Very nice car, even the price tag is not too high for it, lets see if they do some modifications to suit the Indian roads.
