Mercedes SLS AMG is already on sale in Germany now. The car is priced at 177,900 Euros or approximately Rs.1.19 crores. “Following a high-profile world premiere at the IAA, we are very excited about the SLS AMG’s commercial release,” said Volker Mornhinweg, chairman of the company’s management board. Mercedes is also planning to bring the model to Indian market in the next year with an approximate price tag of Rs. 1.5 crores. The gull-wing-model is one of the most eye-catching ones though definitely not one of the most expensive ones. There are cars coming to India from Lamborghini, Porshce, Audi and BMW that will be equally priced or even more.

The new SLS model features gullwing doors, retro styling and it has cooler looks than Mercedes McLaren SLR model. The car is expected to arrive in the market by Spring of 2010 and Mercedes is currently taking orders from its customers.
