Mercedes E63 Unleashed
German luxury car maker Mercedes has unveiled one of the most powerful and efficient luxury cars, E63 AMG Wagon. The car is powered by a 525-hp 6.2L V-8 and is good for a 0-100 kmph time of 4.6 sec. It uses a seven-speed AMG-specific automatic transmission that is partly responsible for reducing fuel consumption by about 12% even while horsepower is up by 11 BHP. The top-of-the-line E-Class features the AMG ride control sports suspension including electronically controlled damping system and a new front axle. A composite ceramic braking system is available for the first time for the E 63 AMG Estate.
The new Mercedes E63 is set to go on sale globally next year and its performance surpasses all expectations without compromising on practicality. It has luggage area of 695 litre capacity (1950 liters with the rear seats folded down) and a fuel consumption of 12.8 l/100 km.
Mercedes has not announced the price of the new model and will disclose it when the car finally rolls out on the streets.
