Mercedes Benz is keeping up the pressure in its effort to lure the Indian customers nor it is giving up its position too easily to BMW. The company rolled out its iconic sedan – S350 L and CDI L BlueEfficiency model in India formally in New Delhi.

''In India, the S-class is the clear leader with over 53 per cent market share. The new models will further carry the S-class leadership in this segment,'' said Mercedez Benz India MD and CEO Wilfried Aulbur.

The S350 variant of S class model is powered by 3.5 litre six cylinder that pumps out an impressive 272 PS and promises unparalleled refinement. On the other hand, the S350 CDI BlueEfficiency is a super fuel efficient model will easily chalk out 13 kmpl even with a massive 3 litre 235 PS oilburner under the hood. The S350 L and S350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY are priced at Rs. 82 lakh and 80.5 lakh ex-showroom Delhi respectively.
