India's largest Sports utility Vehicle (SUV) manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, declared that its Xylo has crossed the sales figure of 1 lac vehicles in the domestic market. The car is the company's most popular offering in the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segment. Xylo has carved a niche for itself in the MPV segment due to its stylish looks and user friendly features. In line with its tag line 'Time of Your Life', it has been providing unmatched luxury and comfort to the passengers with the release of its new variant in 2012, which comes loaded with 50 changes and new features.
The car is offered in five variants which are powered by three different powertrain options, including the robust 128 bhp mHawk unit, class-leading 112 bhp mEagle powertrain and the fuel efficient mDI CRDe engine. Additionally, the higher degree of customer satisfaction has ensured that the Xylo garners a 25 per cent market share in the FY 2012, as per the SIAM statistics posted in UV2 category.
Commenting on the achievement, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Automotive Division, M&M, Pravin Shah, said, “I would like to congratulate everyone who has been associated with this achievement of the Xylo.
