Mahindra Xylo was launched last year and had been an instant success. The Mahindra Xylo Marathon recently organized by the company took Delhi by storm. Nearly 60 Xylo families participated in the Mleage Marathon and at least 97 percent of them achieved a mileage efficiency of over 15 kmpl. Moreover, at least 70 percent of the vehicles returned mileage efficiency of over 20kmpl. Kundan Lal Khattar registered the highest mileage which was 27.7 kmpl. Gaurav Puri and Anil Kumar shared the second spot with mileage of 27.6kmpl.

Mahindra has already sold more than 30,000 units since the Mahindra Xylo was first launched in January 2009. The cat boasts of an array of features making it a nearly perfect MUV for the Indian customers. The model has also received numerous awards and accolades from the automotive media in India.

Mahindra and Mahindra is already a leader in the SUV/MUV segment with its flagship model Mahindra Scorpio. The company is now ready to launch Scorpio in the overseas market including the US.
