Latest Sports Vehicle Audi Q7 Launched in India
The German auto maker, Audi India announced the launch of its latest sports utility vehicle in India – Audi Q7. The company is pacing its steps to become the most prominent luxury car maker in India. The new model will be available with three engine variants and 11 colours.
"Audi India achieved remarkable growth in the first eight months of 2009 by selling 1,128 cars (62 percent growth). With the launch of new Audi Q7, we expect to sell upwards of 1,500 cars," said Audi India managing director Benoit Tiers. "If I can get good production (of cars) from Germany, then we should be able to sell about 1,700-1,800 cars this year," he added.
Audi currently has its dealerships in Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Kochi. Now it intends to add Jaipur, Lucknow, Nagpur and Coimbatore.
New Audi Q7 comes with striking voice control feature which enables the driver to play a song or dial a number by calling out the name. The headlights are also sensitive and switch on or off according to the moves of the car. The car comes with a boot capacity of 2.035L.
