Internl. Suzuki Swift Limited Edition Launched

Suzuki Motor Corp has launched a limited edition model of its popular hatchback Swift at the Nürburgring race track. Suzuki has launched special edition of Swift Sport to dedicate the model to this year’s music festival Rock am Ring. It will produce only 700 model of this new variant which will be priced at around $24,700 or Rs. 11.25 lakh.

Rock am Ring festival is held at the Nürburgring racing circuit in early June. This year Suzuki is one of the chief sponsors of the event and intends to introduce the special model of Swift Sports that is capable of developing 125hp and can reach top speed of 200 kmph. Suzuki Swift Sports is powered by naturally aspirated 1.6L engine that accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 8.9 seconds.

The Limited edition model of Suzuki Swift Sport will be donned with a set of logos on the exterior as well as the interiors. It will also feature a new Clarion multi-media system with 6.9 colour screen and space of 30GB to store audio files. The model features extremely powerful audio system with an iPod adapter.

Suzuki will start production of the model in April that will be first put on sale in Germany where it will be available with three colour options.
