  • Hey Quraish, there is no way to compare a v twin with a four. The main argument is on the pricing of this bike, ridiculously priced! You see my fleet of bikes, then you will know who i am, what i am and i can give you lecture on the pros and cons of a vee twin for hours. I OWN TWO V-TWINS..(one of the best V-twin ever produced)...the wing series.. Transverse/ horizontally opposed, Plz remember you are talking to a Sr.Citizen and a Sr.Aircraft Engineer. Period. There is no bike in this world .. which i cant make it sing according to my tune. And i carry with me 40 years of hobby/biking experience, modification to the peak -- where the engine screams and begs for mercy... So plz think before you talk.

  • Hyosung is a peace of junk and genius people don't consider it a bike at all. The only thing about this is, it takes petrol of a car and runs like a mini moped. Never even think of buying any bike from Korea. It is a different thing people can not afford Harley Davidson but there is no bike which can equal the ride and comfort of a Harley Davidson. Japanese bikes are just fine but all Japanese companies together cant make a Harley Davidson.

  • Hyosung is a good brand . Sure its no Harley but then technically its sound because their base is Honda designs. Cant go wrong with the product ........ BUT ....... CAN go wrong with India partner . GARWARE ???? WTF do they know about bikes ? Typical low volume commitment - will they last ? The ONLY reason I sold my Aquilla was Kinetic and Laxmi Auto (the dealer) SO ...... thats the only weak link in the chain as far as I am concerned . India Distributor + Dealers . Products great

  • @ Mirza: I think you are a little ill informed about V Twins. I have owned a 650 V Twin for a long time and its an amazing bike to ride. The smoothness and ability to chug along happlily at low speeds in higher gears makes it perfect for Indian Roads. An in-line four requires high revs to perform and is a pain on traffic infested and conjusted roads. A 650cc V Twin is the perfect bike to Indian conditions and Hyosung is giving Kawasaki Ninja a Run for its money in the US in both 250 and 650cc category.. And sub 5 lac for a 650cc Sports bike (as claimed by the company) and 6.5 for a 700cc Cruiser is not bad, especially considering the competition.

  • Totally agree with swapnil and najaf. comet 250 @ 1.75 k, 650 @ 4.25 k would be bang on target. moreover, one need to be worried about after sales service.

  • Better if Hoysung India re think about commet @ 1.2 to 1.4Lack range once again. In India, that is more than enough...

  • The pricing is definitely on the wrong side. Korean bike will not sell/jell at that horrid pricing between 5 to 6.5Lakhs (for a v twin bike). Between 8 to 9 lakhs one can buy a Suzuki "Bandit" 1200cc (now available in India, with its time-proven reliability) with a in-line four cylinder engine (sane type of bike - yellow one - ridden by uday chopra in Dhoom) or alternatively an Harley Davidson (883cc Sportster) can be bought at the same price of Bandit ! To each is own.... Personally i would NEVER EVEN THINK of buying this 650 VEE TWIN.
