Freelander 2 Sports model will be available in the international market in January next year. It will be available in two derivatives and two colors – Lago Grey and Santorini Black. The 2010 Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport is powered by a 2.2-litre TD4 diesel engine with Stop/Start technology that offers 42.2mpg fuel consumption and a 179g/km CO2 emissions level. Both the variants will feature two tone interiors, 19 inch diamond turned alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, color-keyed exterior trim and matching door handles and mirror casings.

“With its dynamic styling, the Freelander 2 Sport allows you to combine sporting characteristics with all the sustainability and driveability benefits of the intelligent Stop/Start technology," John Edwards, managing director at Land Rover UK, said in a release.

The two-tone interior featured in both the models carries sports styling that will offer standard version of cloth or leather interiors. The Sport emblem is embossed on the front and outer rear seat head restraints, with Storm coloured stitching on all seats and unique Ebony interior carpet mats with contrast piping feature throughout.
