Ford Launches International Limited Edition Fiesta Model
The US carmaker Ford has launched a limited edition model of one its most popular cars Fiesta in the US market. It is the first special edition model of Fiesta which is based on Titanium-spec Fiesta. It will produce only 400 units of the new special edition model that carries premium leather Individual Series interior done in red and silver. Ford is offering Individual Series interior option after witnessing the success of customization options offered by Mini and Fiat 500.
“We have sold more than 100,000 Fiestas in its first year and we know our customers like to personalise their Fiestas,” said Ford’s Mark Simpson. “The new line up with the Individual special edition will help them achieve this.”
The car is mainly targeted towards the young audience and has been introduced to infuse sales. “We’ve gone for a funky interior,” said a source. “The special edition is the most premium Fiesta around but we’re still pitching it a younger audience,” says Ford. Other features included in Ford are 16-inch alloy wheels, full Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.

Hi, i wanna say hello to MD of ford india limited. I am writing this note in sheer frustration regarding your customer service centre in vizag. Its 2 years i bought Ford Fiesta 1.4 EXI. But till date i travelled only 11,000 kms, because i have got 3 other cars and i use Ford Fiesta only during my weekly off on sundays. I took my vehicle to the above mentioned ford customer care centre as my vehicle wasn't moving because of some loose battery connections. So the reps have solved the problem and changed some codes which i exactly i dont know. For few days it was ok then i was getting some engine noise, so again i took my vehicle to service centre because This engine noise i never used to get before, i got this engine noise only after the servicing was done regarding the battery connection. Intially the reps said that if i change the coolant then the engine noise wont come, so they charged Rs 1500/- and changed the coolant, but inspite of that after two days i got the engine noise, so when i approached again to service centre they said i have to change the Alternator which costs around Rs 24,000. NOw this is completely CHEATING. My vehicle is completely NEW which travelled only 11,000 kms, i have got proof of that as a receipt from that customer care centre. NOw why should i pay Rs 24,000 with no fault of mine. I got engine noise only after i got general servicing done , after two days i got the engine noise. So i spoke to AGM Service Mr Shrikant, he offered me a 50-50 deal. He said to bear half of the cost of Alternator , i.e. Rs 12,000 instead of Rs 24,000. Now why i should even share 50-50 cost. The executives or the mechanics might have changed my car parts and installed a old Alternator and now they are asking me to replace with new, why should i suffer. ITs their fault and if this issue is not resolved then i will sue your company and i will do a mouth publicity about your cheatings. Does FORD employs BLoody CROOKS in their company ????? Ford service centre consists of CROOKS , its a cheating with me, Its a humble request to you that get this issue resolved. I did approach to customer relation executives ( Mr Sriram and Ms Pramila - customer relations Ford india limited ) I have also approached ( Mr Sriram -- AGM of Tristar auto services pvt ltd. Vizag )but they are behaving like crooks, they are demanding money from me which is really cheap. I will be grateful if you can resolve my issue.
