As per the latest results of research conducted by JD Power Asia Pacific for India Quality Study SM 2009, Ford Ikon has emerged as the best entry level sedan in its segment. “The results speak for itself. It’s about a quantum leap in quality that our vehicles demonstrate and our laser-focus and commitment to produce world-class quality vehicles for this market that exceed customer expectations,” said Michael Boneham, President & Managing Director, Ford India. ''We will continue to leverage the momentum gained and build on as we launch products in the future.'' added Boneham.
Earlier Ford’s SUV Endeavour and Ikon both have scored high points in JD Power Study for Dependability. The new results are quite encouraging for the company that prepares itself for entering the small car segment by launching its hatchback model Figo in India. Ford Ikon beats strong contenders like Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and Tata Manza in its segment. Note that Tata has only recently launched the Tata Manza in India, and the Swift Dzire is one of the fastest selling models in its segment with a waiting period stretching up to at least 3-4 weeks.

After having test driven MANZA and owning IKON for 3 years I still feel FORD engines have an edge, though the American brand is ill-famed as being fuel guzzler, pricey manintenance, expensive parts...I tell you it's a MYTH.
With 30k on odo since 2009 the car is noiseless, maintenance free other than regular service/oil change needs, etc and comes with best luxury in it's segment. If you consider it's price it's a VALUE FOR MONEY DEAL and hey it's a SEDAN at the price of HATCH. The Manza is going to join the luxury car segment very soon. The stylish car has a bold looks, spacious interiors and high class designing. Since I have driven both these cars personally I don't think Ford Ikon stands a chance.Indigo Manza wins hands down and look around,it's received such great reviews everywhere.

I completely agree with Yuvraj. Have test driven the Manza at the nearby Noida dealer. Its a rich sedan. I personally like the Blue5 feature and audio controls on steering the most. TATAs have finally got their josh going.

I think the IKON is an established brand by now.. The Manza has only just begun.. but it will soon establish itself as a luxury and comfort sedan as opposed the JOSH machine.. Check out the features and you'll get the bigger picture http://bit.ly/2Nf9mR
