Ford Figo has already impressed the Indian dealers. The car is set to roll out commercially on February 05 from Ford’s Chennai plant. Ford has its manufacturing facility at Sriperumbudur near Chennai where it currently manufactures Ford Ikon, Fiesta and Endeavour.

Ford Figo will be manufactured exclusively in India and will share its technology with Ford Fiesta. It will be exported to overseas market in Asia-Pacific and African regions.

“The new Figo simply isn’t a small car. The Figo looks impressive on the outside and it is very athletic and modern. Inside it is very elegant. Seat comfort was very good and with items like Bluetooth, interior storage power mirrors, the entire package simply offers more than customers have ever seen in a small car,” said Kishore Singh Gehlot, owner of four KS Ford dealerships.

The new car will be available at the dealerships from March and will be priced between Rs. 3.5 lakh to Rs. 4.5 lakh. It will compete with small cars from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Tata Motors, Fiat, Volkswagen, Toyota, Nissan and Honda. Ford Figo will be available in 7 different colours of which 3 will be regular colors but the other four colors will be more scintillating and vibrant.
