Ford Figo Now for Sale
Ford had officially unveiled its small car model Figo in the Indian market and has now revealed its detailed technical information as well as the final price details. Ford Figo comes in four variants LXi, VXi, ZXi and Titanium. It will be available in petrol and diesel engine options for the Indian customers. The petrol model is priced in the range of Rs. 3.5 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh. The LXi model starts with a base price of Rs. 3.49 lakh, VXi is priced at Rs. 3.81 lakh while ZXi model carries a price tag of Rs. 3.99 lakh. The top end model Titanium comes at a price of Rs. 4.42 lakh, all prices ex-showroom, Delhi. On the other hand, the diesel models are priced between Rs. 4.47 lakh to Rs. 5.29 lakh.
Ford claimed that model is capable of delivering mileage of 15.6 kmpl and 20 kmpl for petrol and diesel models respectively. Ford intends to export the model to overseas markets as well making India as its small car export hub. "We are preparing for export and South Africa will be the first market where Figo will go out of India. We will be adding more markets to Figo's list later," Ford India Managing Director Michael Boneham said.

Ford indeed has come up with a good car with aggressive pricing. But Ford has to improve itself on the service front. I own a Fiesta and i admit having service issues with Ford dealers.

Very good pricing for the features that are expected in the car. I am already prepared with a booking amount, as I am looking for a good, economical diesel car and the Figo fits the bill immediately. Ford has a winner here..... awaiting a detailed test report (though I think that will hardly be necessary to influence the purchase decision!) All the best, Ford India!!
