Fiat India Automobile Limited is a joint venture in India between Italy’s Fiat and India’s Tata Motors. Fiat plans to re-enter Indian auto market with its C segment sedan, Fiat Linea. It has dispatched its model to 50 out of total 65 dealerships across the country. These dealerships are spread across India under the Tata-Fiat umbrella. The official launch of the car is slated for mid-January 2009 and it will be sold at all the dealerships that sell Tata cars as well.

The new Fiat Linea in India is expected to be priced between Rs. 7-9 lakh and will compete against other C segment cars like SX4, Fiesta and Honda City. Fiat Linea buyers will soon have a preview of the model at their nearest dealer showrooms. The car will be available in petrol as well as diesel model and will be manufactured in India.

  • I had booked Linea today, when I visited Concorde Motors, Velachary, Chennai. I was planning to sale my Ford Ikon car. A person from Concorde Showroom came to evaluate car, he removed all beddings and did all nonsense. He treated me very badly. I am not sure all customers are taken care properly. He used bad words. I am haven't expect these treatment. Customers were treated badly at Concorde Showroom.
