Fiat First – Fiat India’s Customer Care Program
Fiat India has rolled out its Fiat First program in India to provide world class road assistance program to customers in India. This new program comes as a Diwali gift to Fiat customers as Fiat intends to compete head on with the launch of new Tata Manza. Under the Fiat First customer care program, Fiat offers new 50-month Warranty on the Punto and Linea only, new Roadside assistance program for all Fiat owners, 15,000km service interval for Punto and Linea (Smart service reminder built into the cars), Tata-Fiat Dealer network (nothing new here) and highly competitively priced spare parts. Although the spare parts are not industry leading, nevertheless they are extremely competitive due to high localization.
The 50 month extended warranty is only available on Fiat Linea and Fiat Punto models and is inclusive of the 2year manufacturer and additional 3rd party warranties i.e. a total of 50 months from purchase. Existing Fiat Linea and Fiat Punto customers can contact their dealers for this extended warranty.
Road side assistance program is available 24x7 and the car must be within 100 km radius of dealership or Fiat service station. Services offered under road assistance program are Parts replacement/repair, Tyre change assistance, Extra fuel (5L), Battery jump, Onward journey assistance for an additional 50kms. This scheme is not available to Tata customers.

I had heard about the linea and was impressed with the reviews hence bought one petrol emotion pack from rama motors okhla delhi on the 23rd sept 2009.Merely 23 days ahead of buying we were driving in delhion 14th at around 6:30 and while avoiding a small boy crossing the road the car went on to a small divider with a very minor impact.the vehicle was reversed and parked on the roadside as the car showed some warning sign.I called rama mators who towed the vehicle to their service center. To my utter surprise i went to see the vehicle from beneath with slight scratches and a small hole. But was informed by the engineers that the engine has seized as all the engine oil had leaked.I am surprised as to how poor quality has been used in the vehicle that it could not resist a small impact.I request you to look into the matter and take appropriate steps.
