Details of TVS Wego and Jive

As per earlier news, TVS Motors has launched its new clutchless bike Jive and automatic scooter “Wego” in India. While Jive is priced at Rs. 41,000, Wego comes with a price tag of Rs. 42,500. The Jive comes with a 110cc engine developing 8.1 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 8.1 nm of torque @ 5500 rpm. The bike does not have a left lever as the engine showcases the innovative T-Matic technology with rotary gear technology which is coupled with an automatic clutch. This enables the bike to come into neutral gear with a single flick of gear lever. The anti-stall feature in the bike also prevents the engine from dying off at low speeds if the bike is in high gears.

The gearless scooters features sharp styling cues which are a definitely macho looking. The new Wego comes with an all aluminium low friction 110 cc 4-stroke engine which delivers a healthy 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm. the company has used advanced technology such as frequency responses, computational thermodynamics and advanced simulation models to give a completely smooth and noise free engine. Other features include 2 inch alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension for class leading ride and handling, multi-reflector halogen lamp and LED tail lamps with optical guides.
