Delhi Auto Expo – Audi India

German luxury car maker, Audi India, has recently announced its plans for the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2010 to be held from January 5-11, 2010. The company will not only showcase its historical models but will also exhibit its concept models at the auto expo. Audi celebrates its centennial this year and had recently launched a limited edition A6 model to commemorate the event. The new limited edition model is priced at an attractive price of Rs. 37 lakh.

Audi will display its complete Indian product range along with its newly launched Audi logo. "In the last 12 months Audi India has shown consistent growth in sales indicating a greater and wider acceptance of the brand in the Indian market," Audi India Managing Director Benoit Tiers said.

Audi India will hold a press conference on January 05, 2010 addressed by Peter Schwarzenbauer, board member, Sales & Marketing, Audi AG, and Benoit Tiers, Managing Director, Audi India. He will summarize the innovations that make up the Audi brand and announce the new standard that it intends to set in future. The Audi pavilion will be themed as per its Centennial Celebrations.

The company will showcase its new 2011 A8 model at the Auto expo which will be priced above Rs. 1 crore. More details about the model will be revealed at the event but it is expected that it will come with powerful FSI petrol and TDI diesel engines, eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, adaptive air suspension, LED headlamps, Quattro all-wheel-drive and aluminium space frame construction. Audi’s new MMI touch-screen operating/navigation system will give you company inside with high-end Bang & Olufsen sound system with 19 speakers. Individual seats with massaging and ventilation will be optional.
