Customized Volkswagen Polo for Indian Customers
Volkswagen has announced that its new small car Volkswagen Polo will have customization options for its Indian customers. Customers will be able to opt for features related to entertainment, safety, sports and even their own accessories. These features will be available in addition to the standard features that come factory fitted.
"We will be offering cosmetics like safety features, entertainment systems and sports packages in our Polo cars. These features will be available at the dealers end during bookings," Volkswagen Chief General Manager (Marketing and PR) Lutz Kothe said.
Volkswagen Polo will hit the Indian market in March first week. The car is priced in the range of Rs. 5-6 lakh and equipped with 1.2L engine delivering an output of 75HP @ 5400 rpm and a Torque of 110NM @ 3750 rpm. The company is already planning a complete marketing campaign for the car via internet, print and electronic media.

What about Polo sedan ? Is it priced 9-12 ? What about your earlier announcement economy prices ?

Earlier estimated suggested cost around 4 lacs and it appears to have gone up to 5-6 lacs!! Is that not a high pricing for 1.2 ltr Engine?
