Citroen recently unveiled its latest model of eco-friendly cars, Rivolte, which gives the first impression of being a strange car. Its external design reminds us of the Citroen 2CV (Deux Cheveux) and interiors of a woman’s jewelry box. It’s a car with velvet interiors! The overall upholstery is multi-coloured and the interiors are done in gleaming aluminum.
The car measures 145 inches long, 67 inches wide and 52 inches tall. It is a bit shorter than the new Citroen C3 and it has been designed to deliver lively, low emission motoring where its sculpted sides help to enhance its diminutive profile. "The Revolte is a bridge between the past and the future," Citroën Executive Vice President Frederic Banzet said during the car's launch at the Frankfurt auto show.

The company has not revealed any official output figures for the car but the press release states, it is a 'lively performer with strong acceleration'. It has an unspecified small-capacity conventional combustion engine combined with an electric motor and a battery re-charging function. The car is completely thorough with technology running everywhere including the roof which has solar panels to boost the battery life. What remains to be seen is whether this car makes it to the production line or not?
