Chevrolet, the American brand of vehicles by General Motors s gearing up to revamp its Indian portfolio with plans lined up to launch new cars as well as introducing facelift versions of its existing product line. Recently, the automaker had introduced next generation MPV, Chevrolet Tavera along with revamped versions of Captiva SUV and Cruze compact sedan.
Following the trajectory is the automaker’s flagship compact hatchback, Chevrolet Beat, which will be re-launched in the Indian market in a revamped version. Chevrolet Beat is the highest selling car amongst the car maker’s current offering in the country owing to the trendy appearance of the car backed by high fuel efficiency contributed by the 1.0 L diesel engine that delivers class leading power and torque.
The facelifted Chevrolet Beat is expected to be rolled out in a rejuvenated front look furnished with a broadened front grille along with a restyled front bumper. At present, the hatchback owns upbeat exteriors with superior feel on the interiors. But the interiors in the new Beat is anticipated to be furnished with new and improved features combined with incorporation of better quality of materials in a bid to upscale the premium appeal. The top end variant of the facelift version of the car will be offered with new 15 inch alloy wheels.
Chevrolet has already launched the newly styled Beat in its international market, where Beat has been christened as Spark. In India, the facelifted Chevrolet Beat is said to be launched in the fourth quarter of the current year.
don't talk rubbish, it is more spacious than the swift, the interiors are the best in terms of layout and design, did you really drive the Beat or are you just giving your opinion just for the heck of itJuly 13 , 2012 by Ashu
I have driven the present beat. It is far inferior in class than the Swift from maruti. The interiors are hopeless and the dashboard leaves a lot to be desired. It is noisy like the indica and cramped like the spark.I hope that chevy improve the quality of plastic in the interiors.July 09 , 2012 by Sanjay
