The model was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo, held in January 2012. The brand new MPV, which has three-row seating arrangement and has sourced many components from Sail twins, will shine on the Indian roads in late 2012. The product is the result of a Joint Venture (JV) between Chinese stalwart SAIC and General Motors. In the Chinese auto market, Chevrolet Enjoy is offered as Wuling HongGuang.

The car was recently seen on a test run in Pune and from photos it is anticipated that it was the mid-level variant. This stems from the facts that the model is short of fog lamps, body coloured mirrors, spoiler and alloy wheels, which were incorporated within the model showcased at the Auto Expo. The exterior appearance of the model spotted in Pune was identical to that of the one unveiled by the company at the mega event held in January 2012. The interiors of car were done in a shade of basic beige, with few portions painted dull grey. It is anticipated that the top-end variant of Enjoy will be designed using faux wood panels on the dashboard, though nothing can be said for sure.
As interpreted from the spy shots, although the car has limited boot space, it does not compromise for the space offered to 3rd row passengers. All the variants of Enjoy are anticipated to have ample space in the cabin with a seating arrangement of 2+3+3. It is believed that the seats in front and middle rows will be provided with height adjustable headrests, while the passengers of last row will be deprived of this luxury.
Another test mule of the model was spotted earlier in India, though this one had all-black interiors. Since the car had top-end features like alloy wheels and body-coloured side mirrors, there are rumours that the high-end variant of Enjoy will have all-black interiors.
Offering ample space within the interiors is one of the key USP of Enjoy. Another car was also spotted with complete black interiors. The technical highlight of the model is going to be the 1.3 litre SMARTECH engine, which is basically a Fiat Multi-jet powertrain in an altered configuration. It is expected that the car will be incorporated with advanced suspension system that will enable it to offer a smooth drive.
